Ortiva Appoints Marc Zionts as CEO

Ortiva Wireless, a provider of rich mobile content, announced that Marc
J. Zionts has joined its executive team as Chief Executive Officer
(CEO).

Zionts will be responsible for directing Ortiva s growth initiatives as
the company expands its market share in the U.S. and abroad. Prior to
joining Ortiva, Zionts was CEO of FastMobile, where he was responsible
for the company s sale to Research in Motion (RIM).

The Board of Directors selected Marc based on his impressive track
record of leading companies to the next level, said Saurabh Srivastava,
member of the Ortiva Board of Directors and a General Partner of
Artiman Ventures. Marc s strong leadership skills, vast industry
expertise and innate ability to quickly recognize what s best for a
company s bottom line will be invaluable assets to our management team.

Zionts has more than twenty years of executive and entrepreneurial
experience focused on emerging technology in high-growth markets. In
addition to his role at FastMobile, he served as CEO of Cantata
Technology, developer of IP communications platforms, which was sold to
Dialogic. Zionts was also CEO of Westell Technologies, provider of
broadband products, gateways and conferencing services.

Mobile video offers a huge market opportunity, yet presents tremendous
technical challenges for carriers and content providers alike, said

looking video with efficient network utilization in a wireless
