Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment Bolsters Online Marketing Business

(Wireless News Via Thomson Dialog NewsEdge)
In a strategic move to capitalize on the steady growth of Sony Pictures
Digital Entertainment's marketing and production group and expand the
full range of services offered by Sony Pictures Imageworks, Tim
Sarnoff, president of Imageworks, has announced that the marketing and
production group has joined Imageworks and changed its name to
Imageworks Interactive.

In conjunction with the announcement, Emmanuelle Borde, who has led the
marketing and production group since 2000, has been promoted to senior
vice president of Imageworks Interactive. Borde will continue to manage
the day-to-day operations of Imageworks Interactive and oversee the
creative, marketing, production, technology and product development
initiatives, both online and mobile, in support of Imageworks
Interactive's clients.

"Imageworks Interactive's full range of digital marketing and
production services expands our company's offerings," noted Sarnoff.
"Whether a client is seeking state-of-the-art visual effects and
character animation or cutting-edge websites and mobile content,
Imageworks is the company to meet that need."

Under Borde's leadership, the marketing and production group has
developed thousands of websites and digital campaigns for worldwide
studio initiatives, including a unified online presence for all of Sony
Pictures Entertainment at SonyPictures.com. Her team of marketers,
designers, producers and technologists has been recognized with
multiple peer awards acknowledging superior work in everything from
excellence in design to best marketing strategy.

Yair Landau, vice chairman of Sony Pictures Entertainment and president
of Sony Pictures Digital Entertainment, said, "As our marketing and
production unit continued to grow we looked for ways to build upon that
success. Coupling the group with Imageworks was a natural fit.
Imageworks Interactive stands to benefit greatly from the experience of
Imageworks in infrastructure management, artist development and client
services in terms of working successfully with both Sony and non-Sony
clients going forward."

"It's an exciting move for our group," said Borde. "For the past few
years, we have been growing exponentially and building a reputation
within our industry. This move not only solidifies a strong base inside
the studio but also cements our brand outside the studio as a
full-service interactive agency."

Imageworks Interactive provides its clients with comprehensive digital
marketing strategy, online research, customer relationship management,
product development and website design and development. The unit is
specialized in the management and extension of entertainment brands
into the digital space. Notable worldwide campaigns include Sony
Pictures, the Spider-Man movie trilogy, Surf's Up, Open Season, Stuart
Little, and television sites such as "Wheel of Fortune", "JEOPARDY!"
and "The Boondocks".
