ClearOne Brings Future of VoIP Conferencing to Internet and Telephony Expo

SALT LAKE CITY --(Business Wire)-- ClearOne (OTC: CLRO.OB), the global provider of audio conferencing products, today announced that their revolutionary audio technologies and state-of-the-art conference phones are being showcased at the TMC Internet & Telephony Expo in San Diego, from October 11-13. Some of the exciting VoIP-capable products on display at the show include the Company's personal conferencing products, the Chat(TM) 50 and Chat 150, which feature ClearOne's HD Conference(TM), technology that delivers wideband audio performance for ultimate clarity. ClearOne will also showcase their VoIP tabletop solutions, the MAXAttach(TM) IP and MAX(R) IP.

ClearOne's innovative tabletop audio conference products, MAXAttach IP and MAX IP, are SIP-based VoIP conference phones that deliver ClearOne's trademark crystal-clear audio performance. These products recently received SIP interoperability certification from Avaya, and have achieved interoperability on a wide range of other leading SIP platforms, such as 3Com, Aastra, Asterisk, Inter-Tel and Siemens. They offer full-room coverage regardless of room size or shape through their unique ability to daisy chain up to four phones simultaneously. When connected together, MAXAttach IP and MAX IP phones provide multiple microphones, loudspeakers, and dial pad controls distributed throughout a room, providing full-room coverage so that participants can speak and hear naturally.

ClearOne's Chat 50 is the award-winning personal audio peripheral that connects to a wide variety of devices and provides the clearest hands-free audio communications. Unmatched full-duplex capability means users can simultaneously speak and listen with high-performance two-way audio. The crossover technology in the Chat 50 allows for innovative solutions such as the ability to bridge callers from VoIP softphones with those on a landline or VoIP handset together into one conference call. The Chat 50 provides high-quality audio playback for music with its ability to connect to iPods(TM) and MP3 players, and is also an excellent solution for gaming and other audio applications. The product also features ClearOne's HD Conference(TM), advanced technology that delivers wideband audio performance for deep, rich sound and outstanding clarity.

The Chat 150 is a conference phone designed for small group or individual use. It attaches to enterprise phone handsets so users can experience high-quality, full-duplex conference phone performance while retaining the management features of the handset, such as access to a phone directory, call forwarding, and audio bridge dialing. The Chat 150 also easily connects to PC's, Macs and video conferencing systems for the rich audio communications performance that has come to be expected from ClearOne. The Chat 150 can turn an enterprise phone into a high-quality conference phone, and it also features ClearOne's HD Conference wideband audio technology.

"ClearOne continues to be in the forefront of the VoIP migration," explained Kurt Olsen, ClearOne's director of product marketing. "As more companies and individuals switch from traditional phones to VoIP technology, the need for VoIP conferencing solutions is also increasing. Also, new methods of using VoIP are emerging. By introducing MAXAttach IP, MAX IP, Chat 50, and Chat 150, ClearOne has delivered advanced technologies that bring hands-free audio conferencing to a wide variety of devices and created new models for audio conferencing."
