Portland, Maine Company Launches New Call Center Software Product

On-line Technologies of Portland, Maine is introducing a new Call Center focused software solution that delivers comprehensive order management, sales, customer service, telephony integration and client reporting to the sales-based Call Center environment.

Jay Gowell and Sotero Giftos, founders of On-line Technologies, put together a team of developers with a combined 30+ years of call center software programming experience and developed a suite of products that allows call centers a state-of –the-art technology that is designed with their specific challenges in mind.

“In reality, it’s taken over 8 years to get this product to where it’s at now,” says Jay Gowell. “Our program comes from a legacy of products that can be seen as precursors to what is now our core product.”

In fact, On-line Technologies began developing the “On-Line Call Center” in 2002. With a full-time crew of five developers and two interns on staff, they have brought the product from infancy to now having five call centers successfully managing their operations using the technology, with two others ready to launch as well.

“Depending on the situation, a business can install OLCC on site, or we can host it from our co-located facility. Either way, our solution is scalable for a five seat environment or a thousand seat enterprise” says Sotero Giftos. “We have experience in the industry, and we feel we have a real good idea of what our clients need to get the best out of their operations.”
