Research and Markets: Demand For Wireless VOIP Applications And Services In The Business Environment Is Growing

DUBLIN, Ireland --(Business Wire)-- Feb. 18, 2005 -- Wireless voice over IP (VoIP) has become a hot topic of conversation lately. Now that some companies provide cheap, if not free, wireline VoIP service, interest has spread to the opportunities for VoIP in the wireless environment. At one level, wireless VoIP can be contained just to the Local Area Network (LAN) level, where voice communication can be provided to a company over an enterprise wireless LAN, similar to a cordless phone capability.
