Pravega Intros vegaPort, A Free Integrated CRM & E-Mail Marketing Product For SMBs

Pravega Inc., a provider of solutions to offer a convenient and streamlined approach to email and phone marketing, has announced the introduction of its vegaPort Free CRM and e-mail marketing system, which will be helpful in reducing CRM software costs for the small and medium sized businesses or (SMBs) in these tough economic times, the company officials claim.

vegaPort is a free integrated CRM and e-mail marketing product for SMBs, which offers integrated CRM and email marketing with the speed, power and simplicity that is essential for the businesses to save their time and resources.

By offering the solution for free, Pravega aims at transforming the software-as-a-service or (SaaS (News - Alert)) business model, under which the companies have traditionally being spending anything between $300 to $3000 on their marketing efforts for acquiring a single customer. Further, these expenses are charged back to the customer in the form of large subscription fees, while Pravega has been providing its software away for free to save the marketing costs. Following this model, the SMBs can make considerable savings that can be helpful during present times.

Offering an alternative to other web-based CRM systems, vegaPort helps companies with more than 10 employees in saving over $1,000 a year when compared to other similar products. Additionally, the product challenges a number of e-mail marketing services that cost hundreds of dollars annually to the enterprises. According to an estimate by Pravega, over 500,000 SMBs deploy expensive products from competing providers, and with the introduction of vegaPort they will be able to get same benefits without spending a single penny.

In the words of Gaurav Bazaz, president at Pravega Inc., the company has been serving hundreds of companies in beta testing for more than four months and optimized its product based on their feedback and recommendations. Bazaz continued that Pravega is proud to add to the movement towards no-cost business tools, as its mission is to save small businesses millions of dollars over the next few years. Well-known incumbent vendors with massive advertising programs charge over a billion dollars in subscription fees to SMBs per year, and with Pravega’s products, SMBs can get out of this trap, Bazaz added.

Leveraging the advanced delivery management technology and powerful list management features included in vegaPort, the enterprises can deliver unlimited e-mails to their mass email lists for free. They can compile detailed information about each subscriber, and can also create lead capture forms with no programming experience and conveniently design effective marketing emails as well.

The free CRM system is always helpful in tracking the sales and marketing programs of the companies, so that they can centralize all customer information and keep records of all interactions in a single place. Using vegaPort, SMBs will be able to improve their lead conversion rates and customer satisfaction through better coordination between team members, apart from enabling automated responses through auto-responders. The solution is powered by a combination of open source and proprietary software that are helpful in cutting down the development costs and transfers the savings to SMBs.
