Interactive Intelligence Makes Key Appointment in Australia-New Zealand Operations


Unified IP business communications solutions provider Interactive Intelligence (News - Alert) has reportedly appointed Ray Pipes as senior systems engineer for its Australia-New Zealand operations. He will work out of the organization's Melbourne facility. (Interactive Intelligence A-NZ is headquartered in North Sydney.) Pipes, who was previously a computer telephony engineer at Elingo, an Interactive Intelligence-accredited reseller in South Africa, has 13 years' experience in the field of computer telephony.

He will be part of Interactive Intelligence's professional services team, and his main responsibility will be implementing new projects. Among his other duties, he will assist with support, hosting, installation, field and managed services for customers and partners in the Australia-New Zealand region.

In addition, Pipes will act as mentor for new recruits, ARN, an IDG Group website, is reporting today.

“Both our customers and partners will now have the opportunity to tap into the additional experience and skills of an individual who has more than 10 years of experience in working across our product suite,” said Brendan Maree, Interactive Intelligence's Asia-Pacific managing director.

According to Maree, Pipes will bring a new perspective to Interactive Intelligence's deployment methodology. This will help the company further improve its delivery of Customer Interaction Center, Interactive Intelligence's all-in-one contact center solution. A single application suite, CIC is supported on a single multichannel platform architected for SIP and voice over IP (VoIP).
