Swiss Post Solutions Reveals Plan of Opening Additional Operations in Three States



New York City based, Swiss Post Solutions, USA’s one of the fastest-growing providers of outsourcing solutions announced that it had experienced remarkable growth in the past year by expanding its geographical presence in the USA by more than 50 percent. In a press release, Swiss Post said that it had opened corporate offices in Washington, DC and Chicago, and launched outsourcing operations in nearly 20 new markets.

Swiss Post Solutions is the US arm of the $8.0 billion Swiss Post organization, which is headquartered in Bern, Switzerland. The organization employs over 7,100 people globally. In addition to the USA, it has operations in Europe, the Middle East and Asia.

In addition to providing outsourcing services, Swiss Post Solutions offers a suite of proprietary software solutions. These include: iTrak, Swiss Post's real-time track and trace utility; uBook, a unique courier management solutions; uFile, Swiss Post Solutions' live filing and archive management system; and Swiss Post Box, Swiss Post's secure digital mail solution.

In a statement, Swiss Post CEO in North America Dan Moscatiello said, “Swiss Post Solutions had a solid year in 2010 with a very strong fourth quarter, which puts us in a good position for growth in 2011. We have already launched new operations in New York, Chicago and Cleveland this month, and are in the pre-launch phase for several other operations which will go live in Washington, DC, Connecticut and New York during Q1.”

“The marketplace has responded positively to our value proposition: service-oriented professionals trained in industry best practices, an unbiased approach to technology, and a focus on cost reduction. Additionally, for employees, our robust training and career development programs are extremely attractive,” Moscatiello continued.

In July last year, Swiss Post announced the joining of James Thomas to Swiss Post Solutions' Best Practices Group, a team comprised of the company's most experienced and knowledgeable managers. The Best Practices Group meets regularly to discuss operational and industry information and issues to ensure that the Swiss Post Solutions' records management operations meet the highest standards and provide exceptional service levels to company clients.
