CloudShare Launches Cloud-Centric Affiliate Program

CloudShare has launched a new affiliate program for corporate and individual web site owners.

The company called the affiliate program the industry’s first cloud computing-centric affiliate program. It helps web sites to offer and be directly rewarded for offering pre-configured IT environments on-demand to end users.

According to Christophe Primault, co-founder of GetApp.com, a business software portal, CloudShare’s ability to let visitors ‘Try IT Now’ is a complement to any site related to the software business. The technology allows customers instant access to customized on-demand demo and trial environments, thereby improving the selection process for businesses and sales velocity for software vendors.

CloudShare is being used by Fortune 500 software sales engineers, IT professionals and enterprise teams for sales demos, POCs, training and other situations that use IT as a Service (ITaS) to provide end-users with instant hands-on access to technology. CloudShare Pro extends this ability to provide replicated infrastructure on-demand to individuals, teams and the SMB market. Thus, the platform is available in a “ point and click”  form for use in a number of scenarios ranging from presales to prototyping, testing, support and outsourcing.

CloudShare Pro is intended for individuals and small teams who want to run complete, networked systems in the cloud and share copies with other colleagues for collaboration. It provides a quick and easy way to create, share, manage and track multiple complete, virtual IT environments.

Would-be affiliates will be able to sign up on the CloudShare web site to receive a web page snippet that allows them to refer potential users to CloudShare Pro and be rewarded accordingly. According to Zvi Guterman, CEO of CloudShare, the launch of a formal affiliate program is consistent with CloudShare’s goal of making things easier for end-users.

CloudShare enables users to create and replicate fully-functional IT environments in the cloud. This allows users to give everyone their own personal datacenter replica that they can use and modify while they monitor and manage. Users can do anything with the system like saving records, loading data and integrating with their local enterprise systems. CloudShare’s solutions enable users extended interaction in dedicated “ hands on”  production-grade replicas of their existing IT, delivered as cloud-based SaaS (News - Alert).
