Qwest Voted 'Best-in-Class' for Service

Qwest Communications has been reportedly been honored with eight “carrier excellence” awards from ATLANTIC-ACM, a research consultancy serving the telecommunications and information industries.

The awards were based on a national survey of small, medium and enterprise businesses, the findings, which have been published in ATLANTIC ACM’s 2009 Business Connectivity and Wireless Report Card. The survey encompassed over 1, 000 respondents

Qwest (News - Alert) has been voted outstanding among incumbent local exchange carriers and interexchange carriers for enterprise data value, small-business data value, network performance, enterprise voice value, provisioning, billing and sales representatives. For the parameter of ‘customer service,’ Qwest tied for the top spot.

“Measuring customer satisfaction is at the core of what our reports do,” said Dr. Judy Reed Smith (News - Alert), CEO founder, ATLANTIC-ACM, said in a statement. “The awards presented to Qwest reflect the commitment they have made to delivering exceptional products and services to their customers.”

“Qwest has taken great strides to elevate the customer experience in every facet of the business,” said Teresa Taylor, executive vice president, Qwest business markets group, said in a statement. “Recognition like this, based on direct customer feedback, validates our ongoing efforts to perfect our execution.”

The ATLANTIC-ACM 2009 Business Connectivity and Wireless Report Card presents an appraisal of the carriers by small, medium and enterprise customers.

A price-performance leader, Qwest Communications prides in its strong national fiber optic network. Headquartered in Denver, Colo., the company offers network, data and voice services to 95 percent of Fortune 500 companies.
