Narus Enhances Product Development Process with Soffront CRM

January 28, 2009

Narus, a provider of real-time traffic intelligence for the protection and management of large IP networks, is using Soffront CRM to enhance their product development process.

Richard Casey, senior director, Engineering Operations at Narus, explained that since they purchased Soffront CRM several years ago to improve work processes in their engineering department, Soffront allowed them to automate a number of their processes. The automation has reduced human error and increased productivity.

Soffront CRM allows the engineering department to track defects and development tasks. Casey informed that in a bid to improve inconsistencies, Narus wanted to automate certain items in the defect tracking portion of their system. The software also provides a more accurate picture of the status of a particular product release to the upper level management.

Narus is continuing to integrate additional automation into the engineering processes, and according to Casey, the customization capabilities of Soffront CRM give them the flexibility to easily adjust Narus processes as their business grows.

Soffront Software is a provider of mid-market CRM software. Last month, the company announced that Religare Enterprises Limited had deployed Soffront CRM to capture and maintain master data for their entire organization.

Religare Enterprises Limited is a major integrated financial services group of India serving a diverse base of clients in Retail, Institutional and Wealth spectrums.
