Wounded Warrior Project Picks Talkdesk

January 08, 2019

Every day military men and women pick up arms to protect our way of life. When they come back to friendly shores, the baggage of battle joins – injuries, both mental and physical – and can make the transition a dismaying, depressing and extremely difficult task. Thankfully, organizations exist to aid the cause.

Wounded Warrior Project (WWP) announced the selection of Talkdesk’s enterprise contact center platform to support the WWP’s warrior Resource Center in its efforts of engaging and enabling veterans.

“We are honored that Wounded Warrior Project selected Talkdesk as their contact center platform,” said Tiago Paiva, CEO of Talkdesk. “Talkdesk will help Wounded Warrior Project meet its efficiency goals and support the important and noble cause of serving those who serve.”

In selecting the Talkdesk platform, WWP gains access to a robust omnichannel offering that delivers reporting and analytics that includes real time and historical data in addition to Talkdesk for Salesforce integration. In addition, WWP noted the ease of use and change administration as a determining factor in the decision.

“Wounded Warrior Project is transforming the way America’s injured veterans are empowered, employed and engaged in our communities,” said Sally Bramston, WWP Resource Center Director. “This tool assists us to more quickly connect warriors with free services in mental health, career counseling and long-term rehabilitative care.”

In any contact center, there is no excuse for a bad first impression, but when it comes to our military men and women, the least we can do is support their transition back into society.
