InfoTrends helps for Customized Communications Sales Training

October 03, 2008

InfoTrends has started a new e-learning portal with the first curriculum focused on Customized Communications Sales Training. It is an e-learning tool for print service providers' sales reps to learn about the opportunities in customized communication sales.

InfoTrends, a Questex company, is a market research and strategic consulting firm for the digital imaging and document solutions industry.

"Customized communications offer a world of opportunity for service providers to deliver new value-added capabilities to meet the needs of the marketing professional," commented Laureen Chudzinski, a Director at InfoTrends. "Our educational portal defines the various market segments, explores business opportunities, and provides real-world examples and success stories within each segment as well as a 'how-to' approach for selling customized communications solutions."

According to the company, learning in the site has been made quite interesting by the guided audio and engaging interactive exercises posted there. An intelligent GUI is also there to facilitate free navigation (pause, play, go back, go forward) within each module to maximize comprehension.

The Customized Communications curriculum consists of seven courses which together make up the Customized Communications Certificate Program. A completion certificate is awarded to users who pass the requirements. The student's progression through the course is logged and tracked, allowing them to exit if necessary and later re-enter to finish the course when time permits.

The following courses are currently available: Overview of Customized Communications; Entry-Level Variable Data Print; Web-to-Print; Advanced Variable Data Print; TransPromo Communications; Multi-Channel Communications; and Solutions Selling - A "How To" Approach to Selling Customized Communications.

InfoTrends has claimed that clients can trust their e-portal as they are widely known for their strategic analysis, research, forecasts, education, and multi-client services within the scope of the digital imaging and document solutions industry.
