Lexnet Announces Second CRM, StrongMail Integration for Sage
By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing EditorLexnet Consulting Group has announced the second in a series of integrations between StrongMail and CRM products - this time for Sage SalesLogix from Sage Software (News - Alert).
StrongMail is an on-premises e-mail marketing and transactional e-mail product.
"As with SageCRM customers, we found that Sage SalesLogix customers were looking for real-time integration between their CRM system and an e-mail marketing product," said Steve Chipman, president of Lexnet, a StrongMail partner.
"As with SageCRM customers, we found that Sage SalesLogix customers were looking for real-time integration between their CRM system and an e-mail marketing product," said Steve Chipman, president of Lexnet, a StrongMail partner.
"Historically, Sage SalesLogix has been mainly implemented as an on-premises CRM product, which makes it a good match for StrongMail's e-mail marketing appliance," Chipman added.
"We are thrilled that Lexnet is continuing to roll out CRM integrations with StrongMail," said Steve Murphy, North American Channel Manager for StrongMail Systems. "By integrating StrongMail with multiple CRM platforms, Lexnet is addressing the needs of a large number of companies."
StrongMail is headquartered in Redwood City, California, and is funded by Sequoia Capital (News - Alert), Evercore Partners, Globespan Capital Partners and DAG Ventures.
Earlier this week, Lexnet announced it had developed integration between StrongMail, an on-premises marketing and transactional e-mail product, and SageCRM 200, an on-premises CRM product from Sage Software.
Lexnet officials said it was the first in "a series of CRM integrations" that Lexnet is developing for StrongMail.
"We found that integration between a company's CRM database and its e-mail marketing product is a growing requirement among B2B and B2C companies," said Steve Chipman. "Communication between two business products doesn't get any easier and faster than when both products are on the same server rack."
"Lexnet's effort in this area is one of the main reasons we developed our channel program," said Steve Murphy.
Chipman said the project has "achieved real time integration between StrongMail's appliance-based products and SageCRM 200," and "enabled CRM users to have access to e-mail delivery and click-through information."
