tekVizion Labs SIP Interoperability Certification Service added to Interactive Intelligence Global Alliance Program

September 05, 2014

Customer experience solutions provider Interactive Intelligence has an active and impressive Global Alliance Program.  This is a technology partnering program whose purpose is the building and expansion of an ecosystem of value-add solutions and relationships. Alliance program participants— partners, customers, and consultants— have access to such things as:

  • SIP Validation
  • Desktop Integrations
  • Server Side Integrations
  • Cloud Integrations
  • Template Development
  • Service Integration
  • Sales and Marketing Strategies

The objective is to provide those in the ecosystem tools and expert advice so they can more easily and quickly build, test, market and sell solutions that complement the vendor’s unified IP business communications software and services. These solutions are available on the Interactive Intelligence MarketPlace?.

On the SIP side of things, it has been announced that tekVizion will help expedite and ensure consistency and quality of certification criteria for interoperability testing and verification of SIP trunking, SBCs, IP phones and IP gateways. As a Global Alliance Program third-party SIP certification service, tekVizion also offers consulting, integration, and support services for Interactive Intelligence Global Alliance Program partners.

For those not familiar with texVision, it offers consulting, custom applications, integration, and support services for VoIP and unified communications solutions. It promotes its interoperability product-agnostic, third-party independent test lab, tekVizion Labs, as the first interoperability certification lab of its kind.

“We added tekVizion as a SIP certification service based on its 12 years of experience running successful testing services for unified communications solutions,” said Michael Shrall, senior director of global alliances for Interactive Intelligence. “tekVizion will help us increase the number of solutions we interoperate with, thus enabling more companies to benefit from our software and services.”

“We look forward to applying our proven SIP and UC expertise to help Interactive Intelligence Global Alliance Program partners more quickly bring the highest quality solutions to market,” said Venkat Vyza, vice president of service delivery for tekVizion.

The value of independent testing cannot be over-emphasized for obvious reasons regarding quality assurance. With trust becoming a major issue in virtually every aspect of online activities, third-party validation of integrated solutions is likely to become more important as part of any company’s go-to-market activities.
