Dialcom Announces Four Key Individuals Added to European Team

August 21, 2008

Dialcom, a provider of unified communications and collaboration solutions, has announced that it has added four key new hires to its European operations. This growth is considered proof of the company’s increasing strength in the market and the driving demand for its offerings.

Germany and the United Kingdom have both embraced Spontania, a real-time collaboration platform, which has proven the strong demand for unified communications technology throughout Europe. Spontania is now available throughout Europe and the United States and is showing continued strong growth across all regions.

"Our recent successful launch in Germany and the U.K. has helped us grow significantly in Europe," said Bob Johnson, president and COO of Dialcom. "We are pleased to bring on four strong additions to our European team who bring great talent and experience to Dialcom."

These latest additions to the European team include Roger Wagner, who has been named vice president of sales, Continental Europe. Wagner brings 20 years of experience in the information technology industry to Dialcom and has a proven track record in setting up sales and support organizations at a European level.

Most recently, Wagner served as the vice president of sales, Continental Europe for Lumension. In this position, he guided the company in gaining market leadership and sustained annual growth. His addition to Dialcom is highly anticipated as he is certain to help the company to continue to drive its European success, building on its current momentum.

Another new face within the European operations is that of Philip Burgess. Coming to Dialcom from Oracle via the Stellent acquisition, Burgess has been appointed head of U.K. operations.

In his previous position, Burgess was responsible for developing new business in the content collaboration and Enterprise 2.0 area. In his new placement with Dialcom, he is expected to deliver his proven excellence in the field to build on the company’s strengths in the U.K. market.

Two other additions to the Dialcom U.K. team include a business consultant based in Luxemburg and a director of channel sales based in Munich, Germany.

Dialcom delivers premise-based, real-time video communication, collaboration and multimedia sharing capabilities over IP between any device, any network and any user – seamlessly and securely. The company’s collaboration application automatically controls bandwidth and seamlessly integrates into the existing IT infrastructure - with a light footprint.

Dialcom is showing strong market performance in both the U.S. and European regions. As the demand for unified communications and increased collaborations continues to grow, so will the opportunities for this company. The announcement of these key new hires is proof of Dialcom’s strategy to drive growth and maximize the market potential in Europe.
