Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013, Now Available

November 06, 2013

Microsoft Dynamics is helping businesses connect with their customers with the launch of Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3. This technology gives businesses a competitive edge as they can change the way they engage with customers and build brand relevance in the market.

"This is truly the era of the customer, where people are more informed and better connected than ever. Businesses urgently need solutions to unite and empower their people so they can best serve and nurture their customers," said Microsoft Business Solutions executive vice president Kirill Tatarinov.

Microsoft has also announced a set of 18 new predefined and configurable process templates that can be downloaded free of cost from the Microsoft Dynamics CRM Marketplace. The new touch-optimized experiences from Microsoft are available on Windows Phones, iPhones and Android phones without paying a separate license fee. Microsoft wants to simplify the way businesses purchase Microsoft Dynamics CRM and has thus announced the launch of a new global pricing promotion.

This promotion enables Microsoft Office 365 customers to avail up to a 40 percent discount on the price of the CRM license when they purchase professional licenses of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online. The company is offering this promotion in 42 markets and will run this through March 31, 2014.

Great Britain's Metro Bank is already using Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2013 and is one of the early adopter of the solution. "Microsoft Dynamics CRM is our platform to engage with customers and along with Yammer, SharePoint, Office 365 and Lync is helping us to deliver our promise to offer customers the very best in service and convenience," said Paul Marriott-Clarke, commercial director, Metro Bank.

Microsoft has also added new capabilities in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R3, which now provides customers with real-time end-to-end insights into supply-chain execution. The solution also offers supports for deployment on Windows Azure via infrastructure as a service (IaaS).
