Aspect Software Appoints New Senior VP and GM of Voxeo

Customer interaction management provider Aspect Software has promoted David Herzog, senior vice president of Aspect Professional Services, to senior vice president and general manager of its recent acquisition Voxeo.


Voxeo is a company that offers interactive voice response and voice over Internet protocol platforms and services.

Herzog will be responsible for leading the business unit of Voxeo and developing the most efficient customer interaction management, workforce optimization and back-solutions through integrating Aspect's portfolio with Voxeo's platform. He will assist Aspect in enhancing and expanding its Software as a Service offerings and cloud services.

As senior vice president of Aspect Professional Services, he was in charge of its worldwide capabilities, processes and people.

Before obtaining that position he was the vice president of Aspect Professional Services for North America, leading implementation services, solution consulting and innovation land staff augmentation for customers.

"David's leadership and expertise will help accelerate Aspect's solutions in a market that is undergoing a relationship revolution as consumers shift their interaction with service providers to self-service transactions over wireless devices and across channels wherever and whenever they choose," Chris Koziol, president and general manager of interaction management at Aspect, said in a statement.

Koziol said he is confident that Herzog will make the company more successful and help the business grow through focusing on customer experience and product innovation.

Herzog is just one of the latest individuals to join Aspect Software. The company recently named Kenneth Ewell the senior vice president of Worldwide Professional Services. Ewell, who has served as an operating partner at IBM, will take on the role of leading APS' process, people and knowledge across the organization and assist in the launch of Aspect’s new and improve service delivery framework. In addition to IBM, he has held positions at Bell Atlantic, Waterstone Management Group, and Deloitte and Gemini Consulting.
