Verint Awarded Asia Pacific Contact Center Applications Vendor of 2013

July 23, 2013

Verint Systems Inc., a provider of speech analysis software for IVR systems, IP surveillance cameras and smart video surveillance, has been named the 2013 Asia Pacific Contact Center Applications Vendor of the Year by Frost and Sullivan. The awards were given to companies that show outstanding service, quality work, good market share, extensive customer bases and good business strategies that gave them the methods to work well in the competitive call center market.

Verint’s Hong Kong Division attracted the brass of Frost & Sullivan’s IT practice by “Leveraging its innovative heritage, articulating strong customer value and commendably executing expansion strategy, Verint further strengthened its position as a leading provider of enterprise intelligence solutions in the region,” said Krishna Baidya, research manager, Asia Pacific ICT practice, Frost & Sullivan.

Ady Meretz, the CEO of Verint’s Pacific Division, says that it was an honor to be chosen for the award because “it recognizes our commitment to the customer and market at large.” Verint has won other awards from Frost & Sullivan over the years, but none were as highly regarded as its most recent prize.

Verint Systems started in 1999 as a subsidiary of Comverse, which in early 2013 Verint bought out. This business move also gave Verint a new influx of former Comverse employees, mostly in Israel but elsewhere around the world as well, and it seems to still be going strong in its 14th year and its first since coming out from under the umbrella of Comverse.

The company recently introduced High-Efficiency Performance Management, which is aimed at helping organizations drive efficiency and increase performance across contact center, back-office and retail branch operations. It does that by delivering scorecards, coaching, and desktop and process analytics and workforce management. High-Efficiency Performance Management is the latest offering under Verint’s Business Impact Solution umbrella, which also features Regulatory Compliance, Personalized Guidance, and Operational Excellence offerings. And it has an offering called Voice of the Employee in the Business Impact Solution pipeline.
