Spescom DataVoice has signed an original equipment manufacturing (OEM) agreement with Vianix, to implement its product the Vianix Managed Audio Sound Compression (MASC). Spescom DataVoice is a provider of researched solutions in the field of transaction management, targeting medium to large enterprises.

 

The company uses research and development (R&D) procedures for its products and solutions. It focuses on building these solutions especially for contact centers, trade floors, emergency services, utilities and government. Some of the solutions that it makes incorporate various technologies like digital voice recording, or adding performance management applications into the solution. There are also features like the ability to address risk concerns and workforce optimization algorithms.

Spescom DataVoice's Nexus Multimedia Transaction Management Solution is designed to be an affordable recording and management solution, targeted at customer contact centers. The core of the product is a unified central service, which allows secure access to recordings, recorders. The core also enables secure accessibility to a host of configuration and reporting tools. It functions as a middle layer in the software tiers, juxtaposing itself between the other layers like recording devices, and business process applications, in addition to the back-office database. One of the advantages that the software offers is the ability to provide clear, unfettered view storage, management and retrieval mechanisms of database records.

 

Vianix's MASC is a speech codec with the ability to adjust the bit rate. It is designed to add functionality to solutions. In Spescom solutions, it provides the certainty that the compressed speech recordings take the least amount of space, and are of the highest possible audio quality, at the same time.
