Earlier this week, the cloud-based customer service software provider, Zendesk, announced a new partnership with an eBay Inc. company, Magento, to deliver a fully-integrated and comprehensive customer service solution for eCommerce.
The deep integration between these two industry-leading platforms makes it incredibly easy for Magento customers to add Zendesk customer service channels to Magento-powered sites. In a matter of seconds, a simple configuration gets eCommerce sites up and running with customer service capabilities.
This two-way integration allows Zendesk customer service agents to access consumer data from the Magento eCommerce platform seamlessly, and vice versa. While staying up to date with all customer interactions and customer views on both platforms, sales and customer service agents can choose their preferred platform. In addition, Zendesk announced that it is now a Magento Gold-Level Industry Partner.

Conan Reidy, Zendesk's vice president of Business Development, stated that the investment in this integration is a direct result of feedback from its many retail customers. In order to maintain healthy relationships that drive future sales, this integration will help.
