Volkswagen of America to Deploy Nuspire Networks' Technical Support Center Services

Nuspire (News - Alert) Networks recently announced that as its newest client, Volkswagen of America will be deploying its technical support center services. Nuspire will provide Volkswagen with these services from its commerce, MI-based security operations center.

Ken Sherwood, who is the Nuspire Volkswagen program manager, will be in charge of managing communications between both companies. He will also be responsible for ensuring that the technical team at Nuspire maintains and addresses the highest level of customer service for Volkswagen at all times.

In his statement, Ken Sherwood, said that, "Volkswagen was looking for a vendor that could meet its unique needs. We accepted the challenge and the program has been a great success.”

Nuspire's security operations center (SOC), which delivers services 24x7x365 has been staffed with the company's leading engineering specialists trained in providing the highest quality of services and solutions support for its globally located customers. The Nuspire SOC team is required to clear certifications in a wide array of skill sets ranging from a number of manufacturer certifications to industry certifications which include CISSP, CEH and SANS certifications.

Volkswagen of America, Inc. is a subsidiary of Volkswagen AG, headquartered in Wolfsburg, Germany. The company’s business operations within the United States span research and development projects, as well as parts and vehicle processing and parts distribution centers, in addition to sales, marketing and services.

The company also operates a number of financial service centers and a manufacturing facility in Chattanooga, Tennessee. At present, Volkswagen is counted among one of the foremost producers of passenger cars in the world and has established itself as the largest automaker in Europe.
