For the most part, corporations and county governments alike recognize the importance of call centers. For the companies who are deploying these centers, it means that their customers stand a better chance of being truly happy. For county governments a new call center means jobs for their citizens as well as a growing reputation as being an environment that will lure in more employers in the future. That is why the announcement that Sitel is hosting a local job fair in order to fill 100 positions at their newest call center in Glasgow, Kentucky is good news all the way around.
Sitel has long been a long standing leader among as a customer care provider. The company is now growing their customer care service base and is holding a job fair in order to fill those positions. The new hires will be brought in during September and October and will be providing technical assistance to the myriad of customers that call into Sitel’s center.

Adding, "We are excited to expand our team, building on the successes we share with some of the world's largest brands." While the company believes that the job fair is the way to go to get the best employees they can, they are also allowing people to apply for a position through the Sitel website.
The many different offices of Sitel offer a wide variety of services depending on their location and stated goals. While the Glasgow call center focuses more on technical support for their clients, other Sitel sites specialize in collections, specialized customer care and back office support. The company now boasts more than 57,000 employees and has call centers in 25 countries across the globe.
