ERP Contracts From Tyler Signed With California Municipalities
By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing EditorTyler Technologies announced that it has signed contracts with two Californian municipalities, the City of Orange and the Town of Apple (News - Alert) Valley, for Tyler's Eden financial management product.
Tyler officials say the agreements have a combined total of more than $1.3 million, include software licenses, as well as corresponding professional services, maintenance and support.
Both Orange and Apple Valley purchased a variety of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications from Tyler's Eden financial and human resource product suites. The local governments want to use the Tyler GASB 34 Report Writer for reporting capabilities, Tyler officials say.

Additionally, Orange has purchased Web extensions for several applications to let citizens and vendors perform business transactions online.

April was a good month for the company, as it secured a number of contracts, including one with the Village of Bellport, New York to implement its Incode financial management product. Bellport will also use the Incode Property Tax Management and Incode Customer Relationship Management applications.
During April Tyler also signed a contract to provide the Cheshire, Connecticut Public Schools with its Munis financial management product. According to the agreement, Cheshire Schools has invested in several applications from Tyler’s Munis financial and human resource product suites. It has also opted for the Munis General Billing and Accounts Receivable modules, as well as integrated products such as Tyler Forms Processing.
