One Communications Implements NetCracker's OSS Service Fulfillment

NetCracker (News - Alert) Technology has announced that One Communications has successfully implemented NetCraker’s OSS Service Fulfillment for the end-to-end design, creation, delivery and management of its consumers and business services.

 
This solution from NetCracker is also designed to serve as a powerful transformational platform which enables One Communications (News - Alert) to seamlessly offer a rich and diverse service portfolio across its network.
 
The largest privately held competitive local exchange carrier in the U.S., One Communications provides service, support, and personal attention to more than 160,000 business customers in 16 states throughout the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic and Upper Midwest.
 
The company offers a robust portfolio of enterprise and carrier-grade voice, data and Internet services delivered over a next generation IP and fiber network.

"NetCracker's flexible service modeling and provisioning capabilities, as well as its ability to manage multiple domains from a single user interface, provide a robust solution for our future while managing our current operations," said Brian Fink, Chief Information Officer for One Communications, in a Wednesday statement. "NetCracker's OSS platform has streamlined our internal processes, which translates into improved service, enhanced response time, and ultimately, great value for our customers."

One Communications has deployed Service Inventory, Service Provisioning & Activation, Resource Inventory and Customer Impact Analysis to provide the foundation for the deployment of a range of voice, data, Internet and managed services.

NetCracker supports digital voice, VoIP, Internet access, private Ethernet, and Layer 2/3 VPN over IP/MPLS services. One Communications has also transitioned legacy voice and data services to NetCracker's OSS platform.

In order to effectively drive the efficiency of external services for the benefit of the customer, a company must be able to streamline its internal processes. In order to accomplish this effectively, many turn to companies such as NetCracker to provide the solutions necessary to drive flexible and reliable services.

For One Communications, NetCracker provided the necessary solutions to streamline operations. One Communications now has the support they need now for their operations, as well as the support they need in the future as the company grows. Such scalability and flexibility is a must in today’s economy.
