LiteScape and Spanlink Announce Reseller Partnership

March 21, 2008

Unified communications applications provider LiteScape Technologies, Inc. announced this week that Spanlink Communications will resell LiteScape's Unified Communication (UC) applications. The partnership is expected to enable Spanlink to provide its customers with more powerful, agile solutions that deliver organizational competitiveness and agility.

Based in Minneapolis with 50 regional offices across the U.S., Canada and Europe, Spanlink is a full-service provider of UC solutions that leverage VoIP technology. The company has nearly 20 years of business communications and customer interaction solution experience and a history in transforming enterprise and call center communications to deliver business results. As a Cisco Master Certified Unified Communications partner with nearly 1,500 sites deployed, Spanlink helps companies exploit UC benefits by applying expert consulting, deployment, integration and managed services to tailor each customer’s solution and support plan to their unique business needs.

“Organizations are looking for smart and efficient communications solutions that drive business improvements in productivity, efficiency and customer satisfaction,” said Brett Shockley, CEO of Spanlink Communications. “By teaming with LiteScape, Spanlink can deliver our industry expertise, combined with the functionality of the LiteScape solution, to help organizations communicate more effectively.”

LiteScape's UC applications are designed to extend the power of an organization’s enterprise infrastructure — directories, Web conferencing, CRM, office applications, e-mail, PBXs — to its phones and computers. For example, LiteScape OnCast delivers software that enables users to create and participate in interactive conferencing, message broadcasting, simple and complex dialing and multi-organization directory search capabilities using a VoIP phone or PC desktop. With OnCast, interaction between a users phone and PC is smooth. The user can send, receive, broadcast and schedule voice and text messages through files, images and even audio attachments. In addition, enterprises and vertical industries are able to run more efficiently, streamlining collaboration, customer service, and operational workflows. With Spanlink and LiteScape, organizations will see immediate returns, including increased productivity, corporate agility and reduced communications costs.

"Spanlink is a leader in delivering UC solutions to their customers," said Farzad Naimi, CEO of LiteScape. "We look forward to working with Spanlink to help its customers improve their business operations."
