October 25, 2011

Based in Santa Clara, California, PathSolutions is a provider of automated network intelligence gathering solutions. The company has just signed a technology partner agreement with Interactive Intelligence, a provider of unified IP business communications solutions all over the world.

Through this partnership, PathSolutions will gain access to Interactive Intelligence’s plethora of network monitoring solutions, as well now being able to ramp up resolution time for VoIP calls.

"The PathSolutions VoIP Monitor product will ensure that our joint customers can easily and quickly identify and diagnose network problems for maximum voice quality," said Interactive Intelligence vice president of business development, Bill Gildea, in a statement.

A press release revealed that PathSolutions VoIP Monitor can instantaneously analyze the performance of every switch, router, server, and link that resides within various VoIP networks. Furthermore, it is the only solution currently available on the market that has the ability to clearly pinpoint exactly where and why a VoIP call went bad, and will then suggest how to fix the problem in a small period of time.

"Interactive Intelligence offers one of the most advanced all-in-one IP communications software suites in the world," Tim Titus, founder and CTO of PathSolutions commented. "It is more than 4,000 global customers, many of which are brand-name companies, is a testament to the company's commitment to quality. We're pleased to extend this quality to encompass customers' underlying network infrastructure for an even more comprehensive and innovative solution."

In related company news, just yesterday ContactCenterSolutions reported that Interactive Intelligence issued its third quarter operating results reporting revenues of $52.1 million, an increase of 25 percent over the third quarter of 2010.

On a GAAP basis, 2011 third-quarter operating income was $4.7 million, net income was $3.3 million, and diluted earnings per share (EPS) was $0.16, compared to an operating income of $5.6 million, net income of $3.5 million, and EPS of $0.19 in the same quarter last year, a press release revealed.
