VOXEO and Promero Sign Channel Partnership Agreement

March 10, 2008

Promero announced it is adding Voxeo’s standards-based Prophecy voice platform to their portfolio of exclusive contact center solutions. Voxeo’s reputed platform permits Promero to offer hosted and premise-based Interactive Voice Response (IVR) applications to improve customer service and reduce costs.

Gregg Troyanowski, president of Promero said of Voxeo: “Voxeo’s flexible SIP voice platform provides easy, straightforward integration with Promero’s other offerings, including Contact Center Anywhere and Siebel CRM.” He continued, “The battle-tested solution enables Promero to deliver high-quality voice applications and deployment options that meet a wide range of customer needs.”

Promero was founded in 2001, and from its headquarters in Pompano, Florida, it holds a reputation as a major provider of contact center solutions. Promero and its partners provide innovative technology, strength, stability, comprehensive consultation, implementation, and support. Promero is recognized as a Worldwide Oracle Certified Partner for Siebel CRM and Contact Center Anywhere, IEX Channel Partner and Authorized Reseller for TotalView Work Force Management, Cognos Channel Partner for Business Intelligence, Voxeo Channel Partner for Voice Recognition and 1Vault Reseller for data center services.

Prophecy integrates with Contact Center Anywhere via SIP to produce a fully speech-enabled IVR application requiring no further telephony hardware. Prophecy’s user-friendly, web-based graphical Designer permits Contact Centers to create and modify speech applications from anywhere at any time. This dramatically improves the ability of the contact center to control applications as compared with the complex application creation tools that are currently in use.

Voxeo has recently announced its position in the Visionaries Quadrant of the Gartner Magic Quadrant for IVR Systems and Enterprise Voice Portals 2008 report. The company’s placement depends on its ability to execute and the completeness of its vision. The Magic Quadrant graphically represents a marketplace for a certain timeframe, depicting Gartner’s measurement of certain vendors against criteria (determined by Gartner) for that marketplace.

The company’s Prophecy platform received the Internet Telephony Magazine 2007 Product of the Year Award from Technology Marketing Corporation (TMC). Prior to Prophecy, telephony application platforms were mostly complex “cast iron” systems pre-dating the Internet. By contrast, Prophecy is completely built upon modern standards, which include VoiceXML, CCXML, and SIP. The platform is favored by more than 30,000 developers and hundreds of customers from Fortune 50 corporations to innovative SMB clients.

“Promero’s is committed to providing the highest quality products to the call center and customer care industry,” Troyanowski stated. “This commitment is reinforced by the addition of Voxeo and its voice recognition products. We are very pleased to be affiliated with this successful company.”
