ChaCha, a Proven Leader in 'Work from Home' Opportunities, Recruiting Hundreds of UK-Based 'Guides' Immediately

August 18, 2011

ChaCha, the mobile answers service that provides the users with real time answer for any question, announced the launch of its services in UK market at the end of August.

As a part of its planned expansion in global markets, ChaCha invited UK residents to serve as "Guides.” To become a home-based guide for ChaCha, the candidate should be tech-savvy. The work will be Web-based, where workers will be required to answer questions in real time. The company will provide training to these local guides.

The candidates are required to have only a desktop computer or laptop with an Internet connection. This allows the candidates work not only from home, but virtually from anywhere. Guides won’t have to follow a set schedule of hours.

Chacha already has a pool of more than 60,000 USA-based trained guides. The current recruitment will add specialized local UK market expertise to ChaCha's achievement.

The initial pilot group of UK-based guides is limited to the most qualified candidates. The application process may be found at http://becomeaguide.co.uk/. Successful guide candidates also have the opportunity to receive bonus pay for referring friends who successfully become guides.

The payment depends on how many questions answered. ChaCha is not designed to be a primary compensation source, but it can be a good source of extra income for those with a passion and a knack for answering questions well, the company clarified in the release.

This is a uniquely flexible extra income opportunity for university students, professionals, stay-at-home parents, night owls, pensioners, pub trivia players or just about anyone who wants to spend their time helping others while building a new and unique skill set. Guides complete an extensive training program and receive access to proprietary tools equipping them to become expert Web searchers.

ChaCha was created by Scott A. Jones, noted technology innovator and entrepreneur responsible for co-founding the world's foremost voicemail technology currently used by over 2 billion people, as well as co-founding Gracenote, the world's leading music recognition and music discovery software accessed billions of times per month and powering nearly every digital music program including Apple's iTunes. ChaCha was launched by Jones in the United States in 2008, and the service has quickly grown to become one of the top mobile and Web destinations in the world according to comScore and Nielsen.
