CRM, Other Apps From Mamut Available for TestDrive



There's a product called TestDrive, launched by Runaware, which lets software vendors offer trials of CDs, downloads and hosted interactive online demos. Once a potential user tries the online demo, his profile is sent to the sales force through the CRM system. This gives a vendor a chance to see who is testing their software.
 
Gothenburg, Sweden-based Runaware has announced the addition of Mamut to the Runaware TestDrive service. Mamut, which sells accounting and business software for small firms, is giving prospective customers the option to try out its comprehensive range of products through a new online demonstration facility. Mamut has made its Enterprise Suite available for TestDrive demonstrations and all applications within the Suite, including accounting and finance and CRM, are accessible via TestDrive.
 
Mamut's software is designed to help small businesses run operational areas within one system, reduce paperwork and duplication and improve customer service and processes.
 
You might remember back in 2004, when Microsoft (News - Alert) announced that the new version of FrontPage 2003 would be made available on Runawares TestDrive system for online evaluations and trials to existing and prospective customers.
 
"Demonstrating Microsoft Office FrontPage 2003 for customers with Runaware TestDrive in real time has the potential to make a positive difference to our customers and channel partners,” said Raj Kapoor, product manager for FrontPage at Microsoft at the time, adding "Our customers can easily and quickly take advantage of the powerful design and coding tools of FrontPage and rich data-driven Web functionality, rather than having to download the code or order and wait for a trial CD."
 
"The Runaware TestDrive system makes it easy to expose FrontPage 2003 on Web sites our customers visit. The fact that direct links to the application can be easily embedded in banners, e-mails and newsletters opens up new online marketing opportunities that we are considering for the launch," said Kapoor.
