CRM, SFA System Add-On Jigsaw Hits 400 Plateau

Jigsaw, an online directory of business contact and company information, has announced that it has reached the 400 company customer milestone with the Jigsaw enterprise products introduced in fall 2007.

Jim Fowler, co-founder and CEO of Jigsaw, said the company's enterprise products "dovetail with CRM and SFA systems to provide business contact information… thanks to the collective contributions of its many members." The directory now includes more than 7.4 million contacts at more than 600,000 companies.

The launch and adoption of Jigsaw Enterprise Solutions "contributed to the growth of Jigsaw's membership community," company officials say, "which saw its number increase by 165 percent over the previous year."

In the fall of 2007, Jigsaw announced its enterprise products Jigsaw Clean, Jigsaw Lists and Jigsaw Team. Each of these products focuses on using and delivering business contact information.

Jigsaw Clean, a subscription-based service that cleans, maintains and builds the data in corporate CRM systems, scans a company's CRM database in order to update and augment contacts with the most up-to-date information including direct-dial phone numbers, e-mail addresses and titles. It finds, flags, and deletes dead records by comparing the database to records in the Jigsaw graveyard, currently numbering more than one million contacts.

Jigsaw Team is a subscription-based service to acquire business contact data in bulk from Jigsaw and then share it across their teams, tapping into Jigsaw's online directory to import contacts into CRM systems.

Last October Jigsaw announced the availability of Jigsaw Lists to provide companies with what firm officials described as "self-service, affordable access to a broad range of complete and accurate business contacts in order to create targeted lists for multi-channel B2B marketing campaigns."

With Jigsaw Lists, a company or individual can build custom lists from Jigsaw's online directory of more than 7 million business contacts, "which includes more than half a million accurate contacts in Fortune 1000 companies," company officials claim.

Each contact provided with Jigsaw Lists is complete with name, title, mailing address, email address, and 70 percent also include direct dial phone number.
