CRM Seller Sage Cops Two SellMoreNow.com Willy Awards

By David Sims, TMCnet Contributing Editor

The recognitions just keep rolling in for Sage Software (News - Alert): The CRM vendor has announced that CRM consulting firm SellMoreNow.com has named ACT! by Sage 2008 and Sage SalesLogix as winners in its 2007 “Willy” Awards program.

ACT! by Sage 2008 (10.0) was chosen as Best On-Premises Small Office/Home Office Solution, and Sage SalesLogix v7.2 was honored as Best On-Premises Mid-Market CRM Solution.

“Sage Software is the only company to ever win a Willy award in two distinct market segments,” said Rich Bohn, SellMoreNow.com’s president.

SellMoreNow.com Willy awards, inspired by dialogue from Arthur Miller’s play Death Of A Salesman, are presented to contact management and CRM products that “genuinely help salespeople take care of their customers and achieve their sales dreams,” according to Bohn.

Products honored received top scores in SellMoreNow.com product evaluations during 2007, measured against criteria including functional breadth and depth, ease of use, and customization capabilities, among others.

During 2007, ACT! celebrated its 20th anniversary and Sage SalesLogix celebrated its 10th.

Last week Sage Software announced that Technology Marketing Corporation’s Customer Interaction Solutions magazine named Sage SalesLogix v7.2 a 2007 Product of the Year.

TMC (News - Alert) editors cited Sage Software for its “vendor vision, leadership, and attention to product detail.”

“The release of Sage SalesLogix v7.2 earlier this year marked the product’s tenth anniversary and introduced significant customization, mobility and Web client advancements,” said David van Toor, senior vice president and general manager for Sage CRM Solutions.

The 10th Annual Product of the Year Award winners will be featured in the January 2008 issue of Customer Interaction Solutions magazine.

“I am pleased to honor their hard work and accomplishments and look forward to more innovative Sage CRM Solutions in the future,” said Nadji Tehrani, Executive Group Publisher and Editor-in-Chief of Customer Interaction Solutions.
