Oracle Announces Validated Integration to Deliver Partner Value and Customer Confidence

April 15, 2011

Integrated business software and hardware systems company Oracle announced its new validations. The company also showcased Partner Validated Integrations at COLLABORATE '11.

Oracle Validated Integration is expected to reduce risk, improve system implementation cycles, and provide smoother upgrades and simpler maintenance to customers.

The company said that its partners are achieving Oracle Validated Integration through Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN). Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) validated more than 700 solutions through the Oracle Validated Integration program.

ISVs are providing tested integrations for the Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise, Oracle's JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, Oracle's Siebel CRM, and many other Oracle Applications.

“The Oracle Validated Integration program is a win-win for both partners and customers,” said Kevin O'Brien, senior director, ISV and SaaS Strategy, Oracle, in a statement.

“By selecting an Oracle validated partner solution, customers have the confidence of knowing the integration should work as designed -- mitigating risk, while accelerating implementation cycles. In tandem, partners have more opportunity to gain best practice skills, knowledge, and increased exposure through the Oracle PartnerNetwork,” O’Brien added.

Oracle also added six new products to the Oracle Validated Integration program. The new products are expected to let partners validate solutions that integrate with Oracle Identity Management, Oracle Enterprise Content Management, Oracle's Agile Product Lifecycle Management, Oracle ATG Web Commerce, Oracle's Primavera Enterprise Project Portfolio Management, and Oracle's AutoVue Enterprise Visualization.

Recently, Oracle and Fujitsu announced an enhanced SPARC Enterprise M3000 server with the newest SPARC64 VII+ processor. The new server is suitable for a range of enterprise applications including business intelligence, database, and business processing.

The new SPARC Enterprise M3000 server delivers increased performance and I/O throughput and improved manageability.
