CRM for Cars Vendor iMagicLab Creates Social Networking Site

December 03, 2007

Call it Carfacebook: iMagicLab has announced the public launch of a new social networking site designed specifically for car dealers, auto sales people, Internet sales managers and independent dealer employees.

IMagicLab Connect http://community.imagiclab.com is a free service allowing users to exchange ideas with their peers and participate in a discussion of issues affecting the automotive retailing industry. "From software and lead provider critique to talk of new trends in compensation or benefits, industry experts and layman alike will find iMagicLab Connect a great resource," according to the iMagicLabrats.

"It's about time we had an industry site that was not sponsored by advertisements or loaded with sales pitches," said Richard Keith Latman, iMagicLab's Chief Executive Officer. Well, maybe we don't want to call it anything to do with Facebook in that case, then.

Latman says iMagicLab is "committed to allowing any person from the automotive retailing community to participate and encouraging the inherent social networking dynamic to expand the horizons of all users."

From their Customer Relationship Management tools (CRM) to Internet Lead Management system, iMagicLab is "in business help dealers sell more cars. I believe iMagicLab Connect is the perfect way to use the power of social networking and help salespeople become better at what they do," Latman said.

IMagicLab sells customer relationship management software aimed at the expansive automobile retailing marketplace. Last month the firm announced the release of DealerCRM for Mobile Devices, so users can reach their contacts, send e-mails, record live phone calls and respond to leads in real time via their Blackberry, Windows Mobile or iPhone wireless device.

"On test drives, at Starbucks, eating lunch or even watching the point salespeople now have access to everything they need to stay connected with prospects and customers," said Richard Keith Latman, iMagicLab's Chief Executive Officer.

"I don't think you can buy a better Customer Relationship Management system at any price," says Rafi Hamid, Director of ecommerce for the Napleton Auto Group, "After four years with them our business has skyrocketed."

Mobile DealerCRM is available for all iMagicLab customer relationship management clients, effective immediately. The company sells software and services, including Web sites, DeskLog, AutoPencil and eBay auction services specifically for the automobile retailing industry.

Last month IMagicLab announced its new inbound and outbound call monitoring product, PhoneLink, into wide release.
