Jumsoft Introduces Relationship 2

May 19, 2010

Great relationships are those that continue to grow whether with customers, or in the case of Jumsoft, with its Relationship CRM software, which is targeted at small-midsized businesses (SMBs).

Jumsoft team has introduced Relationship 2, after some 15 months of work, that it says is much more than a contact management application, which from this writer's experience from having worked in marketing support is what salespeople think of when they say "CRM." Relationship 2 offers new top-notch options for contact grouping, an extensive project feature, event syncing with iCal, embedded e-mailing and browser, and an ability to add a variety of documents from your hard drive.

Here is detailed overview of Relationship 2's key features:

  • Complete Contact View

Relationship lets you capture a full contact picture instantly. In addition to the typical contact details (name, phone number, e-mail address), it for example displays the names of projects that involve your contact and meetings scheduled with them.

  • Integrated e-mail

You can integrate your e-mail accounts to send and receive messages directly in the application. To give your e-mail messages a more powerful context, link them to relevant contacts or projects.

  • Browsing and Bookmarking

There is an embedded browser, which allows browsing the Web without leaving the application. Bookmarking lets you easily return to your favorite Web pages and link them to your selected contacts or projects.

  • Sticky Notes

Create casual sticky notes and link them to a contact or project in your database. Or use them independently of other functions. These notes are ideal for reminders and bits of data that do not fit anywhere else, but that are nevertheless valuable and cannot be lost.

  • In-Depth Project Displays

See everything in one place as you manage your projects with Relationship. Link each project to contacts involved, events related and tasks to be performed. Add relevant bookmarks, e-mails, sticky notes, and documents to make the project picture complete.

  • Documentation

For further convenience, you can add spreadsheets, text documents, movies, sounds, and other files to Relationship. Keep them for future use or link them to your contacts and projects to create a more versatile context for your CRM activities

"Actually, you can do many different things without even switching to other applications," says Jumsoft on its blog. "For example, you can simply import your Apple Mail account to Relationship, link essential e-mail messages to your current business prospect, and create an event that reminds you to send them a touch-base e-mail. You can then peruse prospect-related websites, bookmark relevant pages, and create a sticky note listing ideas for a future proposal."
