Salesforce.com Users Select WebEx Integration Widget as 'Dream Widget'

November 18, 2009

Berwyn, Pa.-based based cloud integration specialist Boomi is reportedly offering a Salesforce CRM to WebEx integration widget free of charge to the attendees of Dreamforce ’09, salesforce.com’s user and developer conference.

Boomi’s cloud-based integration solutions are available on the company’s AppExchange marketplace site.

Salesforce CRM users selected this pre-built SaaS integration widget as a part of Boomi’s Dream Widget Challenge, in which they voted for the third-party application they would most like to be integrated to Salesforce CRM. Ideas included Salesforce CRM to WebEx, Salesforce CRM to LinkedIn and Salesforce CRM to Crunchbase. The contest was announced in October, ContactCenterSolutions reported. Boomi’s widget took less than two weeks to build.

“The salesforce.com community challenged us to create the next big Salesforce CRM integration and we’re happy to say that we’ve delivered on their request,” said Rick Nucci, co-founder and CTO, Boomi. “Integration is a critical component to the success of cloud computing, and we’re excited to offer a highly valuable, easy-to-use integration solution that solves real business issues.”

Since it introduced its Widgets product in late July, Boomi said it has helped its partners to build and deliver integrations to applications including ADP, Ascent, Coupa, Glovia, Intuit Partner Platform, Marketo, Microsoft Dynamics GP, NetSuite, QuickBooks, Salesforce CRM, Saasu, Taleo and Zuora.

Boomi is credited with the creation of AtomSphere, the industry’s first integration platform-as-a-service. Major SaaS players such as salesforce.com, Marketo, NetSuite, Intuit, RightNow, Taleo, and Zuora have used AtomSphere to quicken time to market, boost sales, and simplify integration. Recent Boomi awards include the SIIA CODiE for Best On-Demand Platform; the AlwaysOn East 100; the AlwaysOn Global 250; and the JMP Securities Hot 100.
