Marketo, Boomi Team on Boosting App Integration Capabilities for Enterprise Clients

Marketo, a provider of revenue-focused marketing automation and best practices, has inked a deal with on-demand integration provider, Boomi.

This deal will allow Marketo (News - Alert) clients to leverage complementary business systems to run more effective lead management programs. This agreement will be especially welcomed by large and midsized enterprises that now have the opportunity to quickly and easily connect Marketo solutions to enterprise resource planning (ERP), sales force automation and financial systems from popular vendors, as well as custom applications and customer databases.

Describing the benefits of partnership with Boomi, Marketo officials say that this alliance has minimized the burden of enterprise application integration for clients. Marketo is also now in a position to enable clients to maximize their investments in core business systems, regardless of whether these are SaaS (News - Alert) or on-premise applications.

Marketo clients can leverage Boomi AtomSphere, the industry's first integration platform-as-a-service, to easily sync data to and from Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle's PeopleSoft Enterprise, Oracle's Siebel CRM, Microsoft (News - Alert) Dynamics, SAP ERP and NetSuite.

In a release, Phil Fernandez, president and CEO at Marketo, said he is pleased that this partnership allows them to rapidly integrate to whatever business systems their clients are using. He said he realizes the importance of integration without exhausting clients’ IT resources or the patience of their management teams.

Marketo now enables marketers to focus on implementing powerful lead management programs, and frees them from worrying about painful product integrations. Fernandez said this new capability will be very popular with their clients, who are using one or more products from Microsoft, Oracle, SAP and NetSuite (News - Alert).

Marketo is well known for its tight integration to Salesforce CRM and, according to Bob Moul, CEO of Boomi, both Boomi and Marketo share a vision that SaaS can be powerful, yet easy and affordable for the enterprise.

Moul said: “Our common market approach is to leverage cloud and pure SaaS technology to deliver superior capabilities and rapid ROI to customers. We're very pleased to add Marketo and its impressive roster of customers to Boomi's rapidly expanding community.”
