Group One Investments Picks the LearnCenter Platform

August 10, 2009

Group One Investments, a holding company branched into seven different operating groups, has reportedly selected the LearnCenter Platform from Learn.com, a provider of on-demand workforce development and productivity solutions.

The LearnCenter Platform will be used to provide development and compliance training to employees throughout the United States. Group One Investments will also leverage the platform to create, launch and track both federal and state government mandated training.
In addition, the platform will help the holding company to manage and track Instructor Led Training events including online registration and recorded follow-up information.
Group One was searching for a way to automate and track their training in a bid to better develop their employees while ensuring compliance with mandatory regulations. The company selected Learn.com for its broad and deep functionality, according to Junique Danberry, manager ofmMarketing at Group One Investments.
Danberry said the platform will provide employees with an online university where they can grow with Group One.
Learn.com was in news last month for launching its new Learn.com Personal Edition that offers critical employability skills to assist job seekers in getting new positions.   This edition offers job-critical courses in communications, word processing, planning, problem solving, project management, leadership and more. It also provides users with several personal development courses in subjects such as ethics and motivation. Learn.com allows users to take as many courses as they like.
