Vermont Teddy Bear Improves Online Ordering Experience for Customers

Vermont Teddy Bear, a company that has become well-known for its hand-made teddy bears available with a number of themes, holidays and personalized attire, has announced that it was able to keep up with an influx of online orders over the holiday season thanks to a network upgrade it made before the Christmas shopping season.

 
When the company noticed downloading issues on their site, which accounts for more than 80 percent of their orders, they chose to implement Internap Network Services Corporation's Content Delivery Network (CDN) solution  and immediately saw improvements in the shopping experience that was being delivered to their customers.
 
Using Internap's CDN, the company is able to provide their customers with a highly interactive bear–building experience without overloading their servers as the image files are delivered over Internap's route optimized network. This gives Vermont Teddy Bear the ability to keep their servers free to process ecommerce transactions, while maintaining a good customer experience.

Internap has worked with the company in prior years providing its data center collocation and Performance IP networking solutions to the teddy bear retailer.
