October 19, 2015

Online real estate listing service Zillow Group has announced that it a new mobile app, Premier Agent, to make real estate agents more efficient, according to GeekWire.

"The Premier Agent App will give agents richer, more detailed information on the contacts they receive from all their advertising efforts across Zillow and Trulia along with enhanced contact management tools that will allow them to respond more quickly from wherever they happen to be," Zillow Group chief business officer Greg Schwartz said.

Some of the features that the app will include when it becomes available to Android and iOS users in November include push notifications wen contact is received from Zillow and Trulia, as well as the ability to connect directly to contacts. Agents will also be able to access contacts, email, SMS and call replies through a quick response toolbar.

The alerts include details about the contact, as well as information on the property. Contact information also includes Zillow and Trulia search history, a timeframe to move to the property and loan pre-approval status.

Agents can set the status of their contacts based on a customers’ readiness to buy, as well as sorting their contact lists by status.

They can also manage their listing and add information on houses, including photos as well as managing their Zillow and Trulia profiles from their devices.

Real estate moves fast, and real estate agents are a good example of a profession that can really benefit from being able to access and update information on the go. It can really mean the difference between making a deal and losing it, which is why Zillow’s app lets agents do things they could previously only do on the desktop.

Zillow debuted the Premier Agent App at the Zillow Group Premier Agent Forum in Las Vegas.

“The consumer is not going to have a different expectation in real estate than they have in buying groceries or booking a car,” said Zillow Group CEO Spencer Rascoff said at the conference. “You need processes and technology to help meet the consumer’s expectation.”
