Alliance Data Retail Service Brings 200 Call Center Jobs to Coeur d'Alene

September 17, 2014

Coeur d'Alene sounds like a city located somewhere in the French Riviera or a village in the Swiss Alps, but it is in Idaho. However, it is a resort town and the picturesque city looks like it could belong in any of those locations and feel right at home with its 25-mile long Lake Coeur d'Alene, the mountains and lush forest. This might be one of the reasons Alliance Data Retail Service established a 44,500 square-foot facility in the city, which is slated to open soon with an initial hiring of 200 employees.

Alyssa Donovan of kxly.com reported the company is in the final stages of opening the center and start its operations. The total number of employees will go all the way up to 400, but as of now the first 200 will be manning the center. The Coeur d’Alene facility will be the seventh Alliance Data customer care center in the country, and will be hiring full-time customer care, customer retention and payment solutions representatives.

The center will be focusing on inbound sales and service calls from customers regarding their branded credit cards.

Alliance Data Retail Services manages more than 130 private label and co-brand credit card programs for many of today’s most recognizable brands by providing customer insight to drive sales for its client partners. Using retail industry expertise, transaction-based customer data, and advanced analytics, the company gives its customers the tools they need to cultivate strong and profitable customer relationships with consumers.

According to Donovan, the company wants to be part of the community not only by hiring locals, but also supporting local food banks and educational partnerships. Alliance announced it is donating $50,000 to the Kootenai County United Way, the county in which Coeur d'Alene is located, for their kindergarten readiness program.

Earlier this year Sallie Komitor, chief customer officer of Alliance Data Retail Services, said, “As we bring this new facility into operation, we’re committed to hiring area residents who share our passion for delivering outstanding service, and who will contribute to our workplace culture known for quality and performance, as well as a desire to give back to the communities we call home.”
