Swedish Medical Center Selects Kyruus ProviderMatch Platform

May 22, 2014

Kyruus, a provider of Patient Access & Referral Management Solutions, recently announced that its ProviderMatch platform has been selected by Swedish Medical Center to power its Patient Access Contact Center. The officials from Swedish Medical Center said the platform will improve patient experience by enabling them to be matched to in-network providers across the Swedish provider network.

ProviderMatch enables schedulers, referral coordinators, and administrative staff to rapidly and precisely triage patients to appropriate providers and appointments, while helping the hospital, provider network, or accountable care organization achieve its financial, productivity and care coordination goals. ProviderMatch provides system-wide visibility into the clinical expertise, location, demographics, and availability across all physicians in your network, so that patient demand can be effectively distributed across the appropriate and available providers.

“We are thrilled to be partnering with Swedish to help them continue to serve their patients through better access to the right providers across their network,” said Dr. Graham Gardner, Co-Founder and CEO of Kyruus, in a press release. “Swedish is clearly positioned as an industry thought leader in terms of taking a data-driven approach to patient-centric decision-making and creating a superior patient experience. We are excited to work closely with them across their communities.”

Recently, Kyruus announced that ColumbiaDoctors has selected Kyruus' ProviderMatch platform for deployment in its new Patient Access Center. The platform will enable ColumbiaDoctors' schedulers to connect patients with clinically appropriate, in-network providers in a timely and coordinated fashion. Kyruus will be collaborating with ColumbiaDoctors to reduce appointment wait times and optimize care coordination across its network of over 1,200 physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers.  ColumbiaDoctors intends to use ProviderMatch to enable schedulers to help patients navigate across any department or condition, thus improving throughput and efficiency in patient access centers and referral management programs.
