March 27, 2014

Alteva, a provider of hosted Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS), recently announced that it has been recognized with a Bronze Stevie(R) Award for Customer Service Department of the Year in the Telecommunications category at the eighth annual Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

"This award validates that at Alteva, we're always putting the customer first," comments Kathryn Cancel, Director of Customer Service, Alteva. "The Alteva team constantly strives to exceed our customers' expectations, and winning this award is great recognition of that commitment."

"Entries to the Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service awards have almost doubled over the past few years," said Michael Gallagher, president and founder of the Stevie Awards, in a press release. "Not only have we seen a dramatic increase in the number of entries; but the judges have also seen a remarkable rise in the quality of the nominations submitted overall. We congratulate all of this year's Stevie winners for their outstanding work."

Alteva claims that their UCaaS solution integrates and optimizes best-in-class cloud-based technologies and business applications to deliver a comprehensive voice, video and collaboration service for the office and mobile workforce. The solution is the integration of Telephony (IP voice) with real-time communication applications such as instant messaging (chat), presence, video conferencing, data sharing, whiteboards, call control and speech recognition with non-real-time communication services such as unified messaging ( voicemail, e-mail, SMS and fax).

With the solution from Alteva, customers can choose from  multiple collaboration tools to deliver best in class end-users experience while giving businesses the tools they need to stay productive and efficient.

In related news, the company recently announced that TMC, a global, integrated marketing company, has named Alteva's Hosted UCaaS Solution as a recipient of its 2013 Unified Communications Excellence Award presented by INTERNET TELEPHONY magazine.
