January 29, 2014

Avaya announced the roll-out of its proprietary Avaya IP Office Contact Center for medium-sized enterprises. The new solution is custom-built for contact centers having 5 to 100 agents and provides comprehensive communication capabilities including voice, chat and emailing features. The launch extends Avaya’s proven technology in managing customer experience to medium-sized business with a cost effective solution that is easy to deploy, use and maintain.

In a release, Mark Monday, vice president and general manager, Collaboration Platforms at Avaya, said “Contact center capabilities are highly beneficial for building and maintaining customer relationships. Until now, however, complexity and cost put these capabilities out of the reach of many small and midsize businesses. With our new Avaya IP Office Contact Center, we've recognized and addressed that different size contact centers tend to have different requirements. This purpose-built multichannel solution is a combination of the robust features these customers need, with the simplicity and value they've come to expect from IP Office.”

The newly launched customized solution is built on Avaya’s experience of deploying 50,000 contact center solutions that cover around 6 million agents across the globe to meet the demand for midmarket applications. By deploying Avaya IP Office Contact Center, medium-sized businesses can now manage inbound and outbound communications with customers across multiple channels.

Speaking of the new offering from Avaya, Craig Allan, COO at Mountain West Telecom, an Avaya customer, said, “Avaya IP Office Contact Center enables us to offer new and existing IP Office customers a comprehensive feature set at an affordable price. With just a few part numbers it is simple to configure and installs quickly and easily. Now our customers are able to serve their customers - faster, efficiently and affordably.”

The solution features user-friendly agent interface to provide instant access to customer data with options for virtual deployment or dedicated server deployment to suit the enterprise’s budget requirements. Avaya IP Office Contact Center will be available for mass deployment by end of February of 2014 across the US, UK, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and India.
