AGCO Launches Fuse Contact Center Customer Support Resource

December 31, 2013

Agriculture company AGCO unveiled the Fuse contact center, which is a new customer support resource. This center is expected to help customers with setup, calibration and operation of AGCO precision agriculture and machine communication technology products.

AGCO plans to open more such resource centers in different regions in 2014. The Fuse contact center which will work on all days will offer support for various AGCO Fuse technology products. Further development initiatives including email and live-chat support are underway and are expected to be offered soon.

The Fuse technologies covered by the resource center includes AgCommand, AgCommand API, Fendt VarioDoc, Auto-Guide 3000, Fendt VarioGuide, AgControl, FieldStar II, System 110, 150, 350 and AES 25, revealed officials.

Customers in North America can get in touch with the Fuse contact center by calling the toll-free number AGCO Answers or (877) 525-4384. Through the contact center, customers can talk with an AGCO-trained support specialist who can offer assistance in using AGCO Fuse technologies.

As a manufacturer and distributor of agricultural equipment and infrastructure, AGCO introduced Fuse technology as a corporate initiative that addresses all aspects of precision farming technology and how farmers can optimize their operations through AGCO products and new services.

Fuse Technologies will provide professional growers seamless integration and connectivity across all their farm assets - regardless of brand. It will transform current precision farming practices by delivering precision agriculture solutions that lead to reduced input costs, greater efficiency and profitability.

AGCO telematics and data management offerings such as AgCommand and VarioDoc, auto guidance solutions such as Auto-Guide TM 3000 and VarioGuide, and future generations of these and other core precision farming technologies will be added to the Fuse Technologies portfolio.

As the strategy evolves, a major focus of Fuse Technologies will be to ensure an “open” approach to technology integration in AGCO equipment. This will allow connections to existing service providers and Farm Management Information System (FMIS) software that is already in use and trusted by AGCO customers.
