Ifbyphone Debuts Store Locator to Direct Incoming Phone Calls

Ifbyphone (News - Alert) today announced the addition of a store locater capability for its suite of applications that help businesses enhance profits from telephone calls.

This latest offering from Ifbyphone enables routing of incoming customer calls to the customer’s nearest location. Company officials said that with the help of Ifbyphone Store Locator, customers can route calls based on caller ID or zip code, and also advertise one phone number for all locations.

Moreover, Store Locator connects callers to sales representatives, Virtual Receptionist, Hosted IVR System, Find Me List, or any other Ifbyphone service.

Irv Shapiro (News - Alert), CEO at Ifbyphone, said that the “speed and ease” with which Ifbyphone Store Locator can be implemented for handling calls to toll-free or local numbers, will allow businesses that wouldn’t previously have considered this technology to add a store locator.

“In response to requests from our current customers and franchise organizations, we have added Store Locator to the essential tools available in the Ifbyphone telephone applications suite,” said Shapiro.

He pointed out that store locators are not new but they often require a lot of programming.

“What differentiates Ifbyphone’s Store Locator is that it’s easy and instant,” explained Shapiro.

Shapiro also said that Ifbyphone customers don’t have to wait for programmers to build applications or for their IT groups to approve and install them.

“With Ifbyphone’s Store Locator, businesses can be up and running in minutes instead of days or weeks,” added Shapiro.

Ifbyphone is a hosted telephone application platform company. The company offers telephone applications such as voice broadcast, instant toll free and local numbers, call routing and tracking, IVR capabilities, virtual call center, virtual receptionist, lead distributor, along with click-to-call and sales plug-ins for the iPhone (News - Alert), Blackberry, Outlook and SalesForce.com.

The Ifbyphone services are configured from their Web site. After the completion of configuration process, the services are available for use, eliminating the need for specialized equipment or software.

Currently, the Ifbyphone Store Locator is available directly at www.ifbyphone.com or through a network of value-added resellers for a monthly fee.

Last month, the company announced the beta release of Ifbyphone Lead Distributor, a Web-based tool that allows users of the Ifbyphone voice-based telephone application platform to establish a virtual call center without any start-up expense.
