October 11, 2013

Nexus IS, Inc., a national provider of professional, cloud and managed services for advanced IT solutions, has received two top Cisco partner awards which were announced this recently at Cisco’s annual Contact Center Awards ceremony.

Nexus was a recognized with the Contact Center Express Top Revenue Partner  and  U.S. West and Contact Center Partner of the Year awards.

“As a Cisco Authorized Technology Partner for Unified Contact Center Enterprise, these awards further emphasize our ability to deliver valuable solutions with the best expertise for our customers,” said Dave Elsner, Sr. VP of sales & marketing for Nexus.

“We are honored to be a part of the Cisco ATP program, which signifies our investment in certifying our employees and our expertise in collaboration and contact center solutions,” said Elsner.

“Since 2004, Contact Centers have been a key focus of our Collaboration Practice, and I am proud to say that our continued investments and growth in this practice continue to be recognized by Cisco,” said Waheed Choudhry, president & COO of Nexus.

ContactCenterSolutions in August highlighted that Nexus has announced plans to integrate software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider Alert Logic’s solutions for vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection and log management into its current suite of managed security services. As a result, Nexus said that it will be able to provide enterprise customers the ability to choose Alert Logic Threat Manager, Alert Logic Log Manager and Alert Logic Web Security Manager from its managed services portfolio.

The Alert Logic Threat Manager automatically identifies malicious behavior and questionable network patterns originating both inside and outside of a customer’s network. In addition, Alert Logic Log Manager collects and archives log data on events relevant to customers’ security, while Alert Logic’s Web Security Manager protects websites and business-critical applications from Web application attacks, including zero-day exploits and emerging threats.
