LanguageLine Solutions Adds Arabic, Russian and Somali Languages to Its LanguageUc App

August 27, 2013

LanguageLine Solutions, an interpreting and translation company, says that its LanguageUc video remote interpreting (VRI) application now supports the Arabic, Russian and Somali languages, and more high-demand languages will be added soon.

Scott W. Klein, president and chief executive officer at LanguageLine Solutions, said, “Video interpreting is one of the fastest growing forms of interpretation in the world today. LanguageLine Solutions identified this trend early and focused our efforts on building a solution that was both easy to use and reasonably priced. The service is simple for anyone to use. At the press of a button, a live interpreter is face-to-face with the user and the deaf, hard of hearing, or limited English speaker.”

LanguageLine Solutions explained that its LanguageUc VRI delivers simple, easy to use video interpretation and offers convenient on-demand video remote interpreting services to American Sign Language (ASL) and a range of other languages, specifically designed to support a number of industry categories such as retail, hospitality and travel, government, healthcare, legal, insurance, utilities, banking and more.

LanguageUc can give users virtually the best possible worlds of on-site and telephone interpreting at their fingertips and with it, they can meet all regulatory requirements for deaf and hard of hearing individuals, decrease costs involved in providing on-site interpreters, improve interpreter response time and provide a better customer experience.

Also LanguageUc offers a software solution that works within one’s current infrastructure without expensive new hardware, or extensive internal IT support. End users simply need an iPad, desktop, laptop or computer-on-wheels (COW) cart, in addition to an Internet connection.

One of the company’s clients, McGee-Smith Analytics, acknowledged that the LanguageUc service clearly shows that there is no longer a need for expensive networking, and that simple, inexpensive solutions can be used to add video to the customer experience.
