Windstream Adds Avaya Aura to its Offerings

June 11, 2013

Windstream has provided advanced network communications to businesses everywhere, and now its Unified Communications offering is getting a boost from Avaya. The offering is being expanded with Avaya’s Aura suite of communications solutions, all available as a cloud-based solution, providing new features and functionality as a scalable, subscription-based service.

As a result of this collaboration, customers can access collaboration and UC/contact center solutions from a flexible product offering. It’s all bundled together, so it’s easy to implement unified communications and other services with their existing mobility solutions.

Since this is being offered from Windstream, customers can access remote and onsite monitoring and support at any time. It’s all available through Windstream’s network of data centers, so should customers need any assistance or support, they’re easy to reach.

Avaya Aura is a vastly popular suite of communications solutions for contact centers, enterprises and anything else that may need the tools it provides, but by offering it through Windstream, it’s now easier for companies to access it according to their needs and at an affordable subscription rate.

According to Windstream’s VP of business development, Tim Whelehan: "With Windstream's vast experience as one of the nation's largest Avaya channel partners, coast-to-coast network footprint and a growing number of enterprise-class data centers, we are able to offer customers of all sizes UC capabilities, helping them become more productive and competitive -- all without the upfront capital costs of a traditional UC solution."

Unified Communication is vital to most businesses, but also expensive and often difficult to manage. Windstream helps deal with both of those, providing its customers with access to Avaya Aura’s solutions with scalability and access to any assistance they may need. This makes it a great option for those who have yet to try out Avaya Aura, or like what they have and want to access more of the portfolio.
