Contact Center for Gaming Sector Launched in the Isle of Man

April 10, 2013

A new contact center has reportedly been erected in the Isle of Man, by the company Yello, which will be serving the needs of customers in the betting and gaming market.

Led by Mark Irvine and Martin Linham, the facility will provide a much-needed 24/7/365 resource for gambling companies.

Apart from serving the customers in betting and gaming companies, the contact center will also serve clients in sectors like telecoms, travel, tourism and retail, irrespective of location.

Yello provides inbound and outbound services, including sales, lead generation, customer service, customer retention, CRM and virtual office, in up to 16 different languages.

"There is recognition within the industry that enthusiastic and knowledgeable staff is a must, which is why options such as outsourcing to Asia simply aren't an option for betting and gaming companies," said Linham. "With Yello, we're aiming to offer a professional and cost-effective service based right here on the island, so clients can see first-hand that we're able to deliver."

In addition to Linham as chief executive and Irvine as chief marketing officer, the board of directors includes John Hewitt as COO, Arusha Irvine as CCO and local Isle of Man businessman, Morris Hazell, as Chairman.

"During many years in the betting and gaming sector,” said Irvine, “I have identified one key area where licensed businesses struggle to find an optimum solution, and that is customer support.  The coming together of Martin and myself allowed us to develop the concept and, with the support of the Isle of Man Government, which is widely acknowledged as a Tier 1 licensing authority, we have launched Yello to support this sector. The Isle of Man Government has been very supportive of our plans and welcomes new businesses with a positive 'can do' attitude.  Being able to generate up to 100 jobs in the local market over the next twelve months allows us to offer opportunities in an uncertain environment.”

“We have pulled together a team with exceptional strengths and skills that will enable us to focus clearly on our strategy and growth."
